As the Web Hosting and Domain Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our cPanel-based web hosting and domain selling business. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of web hosting, domain management, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Server Management and Maintenance: Oversee the management of cPanel/WHM servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime. Conduct regular server audits, backups, and updates. Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Customer Support and Service: Provide top-notch customer support via email, chat, and phone for hosting and domain-related inquiries. Assist customers with domain registrations, transfers, DNS management, and other related tasks. Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase domain and hosting sales. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the web hosting and domain space. Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Account Management: Oversee client accounts, ensuring that all billing, renewals, and account changes are processed efficiently. Monitor and manage customer subscriptions, upsell additional services, and ensure timely renewals.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all hosting environments comply with industry-standard security protocols. Implement and manage SSL certificates, malware scans, and other security measures.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze reports on sales performance, server health, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for improving service quality and business growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless operations. Train and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing web hosting services and domain sales, preferably in a cPanel/WHM environment. Strong technical knowledge of web hosting, domain management, DNS, SSL, and server security. Experience with customer support and account management in a tech environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency with cPanel/WHM, WHMCS, and related tools.
  • Education: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
